BUCKYBALL
James Pesola tells the story of how one night of partying in South Beach with his best friend changed his life forever. Listening to a specific song always transports him back to the same time and place which happens to be the Miamillennium nightclub in Miami. These flashback moments are called lifeturns and James claims to have lived over one hundred and seventy-one of them, some lasting between 13 and 26 years.

Out Of Time: An Atticus Wolfe Novel Kindle Edition
by Dave Sinclair (Author)
As an MI6 spy in 1963, Atticus Wolfe should be enjoying everything the swinging sixties has to offer.
But he’s not.
That’s because Atticus Wolfe is from the 21st century.
Accidentally torn from present day and flung into 1960s London in the midst of a cultural revolution, Atticus must acclimatise to a time not his own.
Although he's shocked by bigotry decades out of step with his sensibilities, not everything is unfamiliar like finding a mole inside MI6.
Atticus must take down a clandestine Soviet agent on the front lines of the Cold War, hunt the terrorist who inadvertently sent him back in time and maybe, just maybe, find a way home.
A fast-paced adventure with whip smart dialogue and twists you won’t see coming, Out of Time is like no spy story you’ve read before.

Thanks Lizz. Just want to point out that this is free on Kindle Unlimited, which is a subscription service that costs $9.99/month.

Sorry to hear that. I wonder why. Are you international (not in America?) although I don't think that would be a problem.

My book just arrived on Amazon (with the help of an author friend - I'm a bit of a Luddite) - what a rush! I was jazzed to get 5 awesome reviews, but I'll admit I'd like a few more. I started the project in 2010 after some intense months of research and storyboard prep - then getting started... what a rush! The next 2 years at lunchtime blew by and 260,000 words later I got to the end! Whew! It was like turning on a faucet full blast then breaking off the handle...
As an amateur military historian, using the setting of Napoleonic France in the summer of 1804 (great title, eh?!) was right in my wheelhouse. Taking a WWI British soldier from 1914 (who just 'happens' to have an ancestor attempting to kidnap Napoleon) and a Roman Legionnaire from 44AD and dumping them into the lap of a French officer just seemed a natural premise for a time travel book, and here I am.
The problem (other than how to get the boys back home to their wives - who they MIGHT just ALL be married to) with cleaning up the writing was I had written the entire story on a single Word document... all 260k words of it (ok - you can stop laughing now...).
Editing for years was a nightmare, but eventually a friend suggested Scrivener and it was finally clear sailing. I've given out about a 100 free copies over the past 7 or 8 years for folks to look over for me, but now that 1804 is finally up on Amazon, I find myself unsure how to get the word out.
Unlike my grandkids, I don't live on social media. I've gotten 5 very kind reviews up on Amazon, but I'd like a few more from outside the dozen who've purchased the book. I figure giving out a few dozen more for free can't hurt my meager 'royalties' - I'd rather get it into reader's hands anyway.
If you look it up on Amazon (search '1804 Chester Hendrix' and you'll find it easy- I'm not real conversant with html or I'd leave a link), you'll see the back of the book blurb and can read my 20 pages of FORWARDS - as well as the first 3 chapters. If you like what you see, just write me directly and I'll be happy to send you a free epub copy.
Not sure how long I'll leave it here for free for you guys - at least till the end of July. I'm not sure how to read if there's anybody even ON this thread (as the last entry reads 2013), so please tell a friend!
Honest reviews on Amazon are cheerfully accepted!
