And to answer your question, no I did not have any actual “encounters� while living there, but years later I learned that the room above the kitchen (where the turret would have been—that’s the only fictitious part of the property) was inaccessible from anywhere in the house. I was young and never thought to ask what was up there (there were windows with curtains in them) and my mother to this day doesn’t know!
