Chelsea If I ever get to teach Honors, I'm going to assign this as a companion read to TKAM and have students do a comparasion or character growth on Scout. :)

Kenneth Tubman I agree. Whether you like the story or not, it's just pure pleasure to read Harper Lee's style of writing. She could write about anything and I would put my ears on.

Liz I'm also an English teacher and would have to discuss with my class the distinct possibility that these two books were written by different writers during different decades! also, how can you so sure it's Harper Lee--by an examination of all her books?
