As the youngest brother of the notorious Falcone clan, Adamo grew up surrounded by blood and violence. Drugs soon became his way of coping.
Becoming a Made Man like his brothers was his destiny but never his passion. When he becomes the organizer of his family’s successful illegal street races and one of their thrill-seeking drivers, he finally asserts his own path in the harsh mafia world.
His purpose isn’t the only thing Adamo discovers on the fuel-soaked roads he calls home

Dinara Mikhailov is the only female race driver and hard to ignore. Not only because of her flaming red hair and ruthless driving style, but also because the Bratva princess is allowed to drive in enemy territory.
Soon Adamo and she find themselves entangled in a passionate game that goes beyond the race track. Yet, both haunted by events in the past, their dark cravings put everything on the line.

As what they crave the most, comes with a brutal price.

I would rather read Savio’s disgusting book again before ever re-reading this, that’s how much I disliked this thing. Actually, I don’t think “dislike is so much the proper word to describe how I felt about this book. “Bored to death would be more apt.

This didn’t even feel like a Camorra book. It felt like a cross between a wannabe Fast and the Furious and that really shitty 2004 Torque movie.

I didn’t like Dinara. She was a front runner for the “Not Like Other Girls book games. It was obvious very early on, but cemented when, at 2% in, Dinara LITERALLY says, “I’m not like other girls. Fucking please. Chain smoking and dressing emo punk with a shitty mood and some piercings makes you just like so many other girls, it’s insane. It’s just obvious now that you’re trying too hard, is all.

And I call bullshit on a Russian mafia princess ever learning to race cars or rebuild vehicle engines, let alone slam heroin and bang her bodyguard. There is a limit to the rebellion the Russian mob boss supposedly allowed her, I don’t care what anyone says.

If my dislike for Dinara wasn’t enough, Adamo going full-on milk toast sealed the deal.

What a disappointment all around.

y'all know it's a bad sign when i was this close to admitting i'd rather read all over again just to feel something because here? i felt NOTHING.

i have been waiting for adamo's book ever since i first read this series last summer. he was just this cute kid that triggered my motherly instinct because he was just sooo.. well he was just so different from everyone. he was sweet, kind, not at all a ho like his brothers and doesn't wanna use women like they do, and for that i wanted to protect this precious little bean even AFTER he was being a little shit in .

and i felt so much for this character, felt so protective of him because he was so innocent and precious, this was literally me since book 1:

description

no one's hurting my bb ✋ðŸ and this is why i hated- sorry, i meant dislike since hate is a strong word, don't want anyone writing an essay explaining to me why hating serafina's family is wrong but anyways. and now... the fact i feel nothing for him in his own book... I WAS ROOTING FOR HIM. I WANTED HIM TO GET A REMO-LEVEL TYPE OF WRITING AND ROMANCE. but instead, well, we're treated with insta-lust, no romantic development, bad characterization and lack of chemistry and connection between the MCs.

ã€ p l o t ã€â†  so this book is about Adamo Falcone (H), the youngest Falcone bro aka the emo kid we've all known and loved and wanted to protect even if he was being a little shit sometimes who's now a supposed professional/illegal racecar driver, and Dinara Mikhailov (h) the daughter of a Pakhan of the Bratva who's seeking revenge towards her mother for what she did to her in the past.

and for a non-spoiler review imma just show y'all how i was like after reading this book till 4 am, contemplating why i even stayed up till 4 am for nothing.

description

you can interpret that anyway you want but this was 100% me.

but anywhoo i'm going to say the word "nothing" a lot and i guess im gonna go on a not so mini rant and i can't really say anything without spoiling so

â•”â•â•â•â•â•*.·:·.☽✧ SPOILERS AHEAD ✧☾.·:·.*â•â•â•â•â•â•—

 ick #1: insta-lust
i hate insta-lust with passion and this trope is basically the foundation of adamo and dinara's "romance" and because of this i felt nothing. i felt 0 chemistry, 0 connection and 0 development because what did they do for the better part of this book? only fucked or wanting to fuck each other and telling us they find the other attractive.

see, this is why i hate insta lust so much because i personally need more depth, substance and emotional connection. there's none of that here in the first half ( a crucial time to build romantic development, by the way) because all they've been thinking about or doing is just fucking each other. at one point i seriously yelled "STOP FUCKING EACH OTHER AND JUST TALK". no joke. i also loathe insta-lust because the romance/connection between the MCs seem superficial because once they say their "i love you's" i don't believe them and that's exactly what happened here. all the "connection" and "development" in the last half seems so forced because of this.

even when they finally stopped jumping each others bones for once and open up to one another or talk about their past, saying stuff like this:

"I want to get to know you better. Not just your body, but your mind, your past, your darkness"

my first thought was "bish since uh â˜ï¸ when 🤨". i didn't swoon, i didn't say "aww" all i felt was...you guys guessed it:
N-O-T-H-I-N-G.

then that stupid scene with CJ (OW) in chapter 4 had to happen where adamo went on and on about how he and CJ had this special bond and they always talk about meaningful things... while and he and his main love interest had none... seriously-

ick #2: OW scene with CJ

ugh. why did this even have to happen.

we all know that C.J. and Adamo got together when he was 15 and she was 28 (yes, i know Adamo said they were only 10 years apart here but i ain't ever forget the age that was written in ). so he sleeps with her in chapter 4 (13%) and ending things around chapter 7 (24%).

lemme just show y'all a snippet of what happened in chapter 4:

"I fingered C.J. until she exploded after only a minute. C.J. sank down on her knees and began sucking me deeply into her mouth until my balls hit her chin. I groaned, my eyes fluttering shut. Over the years, I’d been with several girls, still far less than my brothers, but enough to know that C.J.’s skills were out of this world"

and then they proceeded to "fuck all night until they were spent". first of all, ew. second of all, EEWWWW.

description

yes, he was already attracted to dinara at this point. and yes, this happened after meeting dinara, being attracted to her and kinda wanting to be with her because he's lusting after her. so again... why did this have to happen? because what's worse is that, as you can see in the quote above, he f*ngered her and she gave him a bj and you know what happened 4 chapters later when adamo and dinara got together? he f*ngered dinara and she gave him a bj, doing the same thing he just did with the OW 4 chapters ago... and the fact that adamo had more chemistry with CJ during this one scene- PLS.

let's also not forget how adamo said "CJ was the best lay I'd ever had" and my petty ass was really waiting for him to say "dinara is the best ever, no one can compare" but nah. i guess i expected too much and should've known this wasn't gonna happen.

ick #3: "im not like other girls"

yes, dinara really said this.

ick #4: development? romance? charactization? bishh where

the fact that adamo had more depth as a side character in the previous books compared to his own book just boggles my mind.

most (keyword: most) of the characterization of Adamo in this book was told >>> shown. he told dinara about his torture and that he got over his revenge. he told dinara that he loves to kill and torture and he stays away from it because he actually enjoys it. he told us that he and remo had a fall out but they're fine now. and he told dinara about his time in new york. and once he finally showed something that makes me understand him more? it was too little too late.

i couldn't care less what happened after 50% because why? i felt NOTHING. the last 40% is, unfortunately, where the plot starts and if i cared, i would've liked it because it's actually pretty interesting as adamo and dinara are going on this revenge quest to kill her abusers but at that point, the consequences of the insta-lust, and lack of chemistry and emotions got to me y'all.

everything else in the last half - the characterization, romance and the development - felt so forced. the last time we see adamo, he was traumatized and broken. and suddenly here, adamo's fine, he's over his revenge and emo phase and doesn't loathe his brothers? what? he mostly tells us that he avoids killing and torture because he actually likes it and again, i was like "BISH SINCE WHEN". i know years have gone by since the last book, i know this. but i didn't see/believe this change whatsoever. i guess the writing and characterization in the first half didn't do a good job of transitioning as to how dinara and adamo are like in the last half because again, everything felt forced, and again, I. Felt. Nothing.

confession time: it was harder to get through this book compared to because that's how bored i was. at least in TH i felt a lot of emotions even if they're all negative. but here - i know this is the 1290802394 time i've said this in this review but oh well - I FELT NOTHING. nada.

╚â•â•â•â•â•â•â•â•*.·:·.☽✧ âœ ✧☾.·:·.*â•â•â•â•â•â•â•â•â•

while i was reading this book and as my disappointment and lack of emotions were just rising up, i was literally screaming in my head

because adamo really was the chosen one for me okay? i was anticipating this book so much because i loved adamo and i mean seriously. this book had the formula for a great rivals to lovers (they compete in races), forbidden, star-crossed lovers romance (Dinara's from the Bratva and Adamo's a Falcone, therefore they are enemies) but the finished product was... not good.

many of CR's new releases have so much potential and the tropes are all *chef's kiss*
but the execution? not good.
the writing? not good.
the character, romantic, and plot development? nonexistent.

i was gonna give this 1 star - that's how disappointed i am - but i realized this is not savio-level bad, it was mainly just so boring because of the lack of depth, chemistry, and romantic connection/development. i really shipped dinara and dima more than i shipped adamo and dinara. that's how bad their "romance" is.

adamo used to be the falcone brother i cared about the most and the fact that i care about him the least after reading this... yeah..

br with @moonlight thx for ranting with me till 4 am

DISCLAIMER. Yeah, well, I really had zero desire to waste any more of my lifetime by writing a rant on this joke of a book that had already taken away precious hours of my pastime for nothing, but then I saw how MANY likes you guys gave me (😵😮🥺) for this deceptive as fuck promise from my lyin' bitch ass: "Rant probably to come 😴", that I honestly felt so, so bad.
DAMN CONSCIENCE

So many awesome reviews have already pointed out the problematic stuff in this book, but will it stop me from bitching about the same damn things in my review?

Let me start this monster of a review by acting like a petty bitch (AGAIN) cuz these words are just pouring out from the depth of my soul:

Dear foreign writers,
PLEASE. I'm begging you. ¡🛠STOP ⛔✋⛔writin' 🤡 Russian🔪characters☠!

I'm an extremely lazy person but these authors here are so embarrassingly indolent when it comes to researching prior to touching on particular topics in their books, that they basically be tellin' me:

Ok, bissshes, you win, you outnumber me and I don't take it well.

Cora Reilly didn't deem it important to research such a SIMPLE concept as names and its endings in the Russian language, so in similar fashion I won't not spend my time explaining why the name Dinara Mikhailov is wrong. I'll only mention that Mikhailov is a last name denotin' a male person and sounds pretty ridiculous when used to address a female. It would have literally taken 5 minutes, if not less, of googling for Cora to realize and avoid making a stupid mistake.

People may reasonably ask me why I keep bitching about the lack of research from the authors who write smut... and why is it even important?
-*insert the 2nd meme cuz that would be my answer*
- also it might have something to do with the fact that I want romance authors and readers to set higher standards for the genre.

At least Cora didn't try to translate whole sentences into Russian, for which I am deeply thankful.

Back to more pressing issues...
Can anyone explain to me how the fuck is it romance when both leading characters have better chemistry and actual history with other people than with each other???

If you include a very detailed and even hot intimate scene with another woman, who the hero has emotional connection to, at least have the courtesy to make us believe that the heroine is not just a hot piece of ass for him (his words not mine). Ensure that we see romantic development and emotional connection between them. I skimmed nearly all the sex scenes between them (they were that dull) and seeing as they compose the 70% of this book, can I really claim I actually read this book? I dunno.

Look, at the bottom of this text I outlined the concessions I'm willing to make when it comes to reading romance, but all bets are off when the main couple acts like fuck buddies instead of soulmates. ✋ðŸ

In this one, Cora made a futile attempt to create a badass girl in contrast to her normally meek and innocent heroines (I honestly have nothing against them, lol).

Once in a blue moon she writes a sexually experienced heroine but of-fucking-course the devil had to have whispered in her ear to make Dinara a victim of multiple rape in her childhood. What else has the potential to give a woman sexual freedom and badass vibes in the future. RIGHT?

Got a secret
Can you keep it?

Dinara, sweetie, you try so hard but you AIN'T it. When you ask your fuck buddy Adamo to help you kill your rapists, you don't look cool or any different from other Cora's heroines. I know many hated Gianna from , but I've been stannin' this girl. She didn't possess any assassin's skills, yet she managed to run away from the world she hated and didn't resort to any man's help while trying to build a better life for herself.

We have to leave it to Cora to empower woman through makin' her dependent on her patriarchal lover (cuz all men in this series are patriarchal) to exact her sweet revenge on the sick fucks that had molested her. I had the feeling that Dinara indeed perceived Adamo as a means to an end and nothing more for the most part of the story. 💔ROMANCE💔

Love me some female empowerment characterised by the opportunity to give "surprise" bjs and being allowed some semblance of freedom.

Internal misoginy and Dinara's quest to appear "not like other girls" (what is even wrong with being like other other girls, dude?) is ridiculous at its best. Suffice it to say, I didn't like this girl, not one bit. Don't try to sell me a badass bitch when there is none.

If I'm being honest I never particularly fancied Adamo but this book proved him to be a very bland and...regular character? All his unique characteristics everyone seemed to love about him (not me, tho) were magically gone and I cannot even say I know him any better than I did before reading this book.

This is very subjective but I didn't appreciate his lack of possessiveness as well. Dinara's ex fuck buddy Dima is her bodyguard, a constant presence in her life and you don't find it in yourself to be a little jealous? The fuck? She had been dating him for 3 years and Dima, understandably, acts like a jealous lover while all Adamo's emotions amount to mild, granny-style curiosity about their past relationship? WHO SAYS HE HAS BECOME MORE LIKE REMO? COME TO ME now for insulting my bae Remo.

lol.

We are perfectly aware/informed of Adamo and Dinara's extremely traumatic pasts, both had (are still having?) problems with drugs, Dinara tried to commit a suicide. Remind me how exactly were these grave issues resolved within the plotline?

Mass murder? Sex therapy? HI. 💀

Fuck their final "I love yous", I don't buy the bullshit.

The writing style is heavily underwhelming and the storyline bored the hell out of me. With absolutely nothing to compensate for the above mentioned, I'm reasonably out.
I would rather read about the manwhore Savio and the doormat Gemma who at least had chemistry and made me fume.

Byeeee

SONG:

I have a love-hate relationship with Cora Reilly's book. While I find her writing to be really bad, that it makes it super easy to read at the same time, because her sentences are easy to understand. The characters are mostly one-dimensional, but they are very entertaining. But Twisted Cravings had none of that and it was a pain to finish. I considered DNF-ing a couple of times and the only thing why I didn't do it, was because it's the last book in the series and I hate to leave series unfinished.

Ë—ËË‹
B E W A R E
S P O I L E R S
Ò©ËŠË—

short summary of the plot

Twisted Cravings takes place three years after Adamo came back from his time in NY. He handles the Camorra racing business where he meets Dinara Mikhailov on the race track. Dinara is the daughter of the Russian bratva boss and is on a mission to find more about her mother who is a prostitute working for Remo. After finding out about her mother's whereabouts, Dinara asks Adamo for help in killing all the men that raped her when she was a child + her mother who filmed everything and made money from selling those videos on the Darknet.

the plot of Twisted Cravings reminded of a poor man's . go read that series if you really want to see some badass female getting revenge on some sexual predators in the most beautiful way. Lana Myers is the blue blueprint. What Dinara and Adamo do looks like child's play in comparison.

**✿â¶Ä* the characters 〶Ä*â¶Ä✿ï·×*

Adamo Falcone: I liked Adamo in the previous book as a side character, heavy emphasize one the SIDE part. I liked how Adama was the baby in the family and the more innocent Falcone brother, but it turns out that he is just like the rest of the Falcone clan with his blood lust. And while that's nothing bad, seeing how he grew up with violence, Adamo's development going from being someone who hated all the blood shed and killing to loving to torture & killing people. It felt forced. I would have been fine if Adamo would be different than his brothers, but at the end Cora decided to turn Adamo to a mini Remo who is obsessed with racing cars. Otherwise Adamo was very... bland with not much personality.

âž Dinara Mikhailov: I was already lowkey annoyed with Dinara, because not even 12 pages into the book upon meeting Adamo, she had to go and say ðŸ˜ðŸ¤ªðŸ¤¯ sHe's NOt liKe OthER gIrLs ðŸ˜ðŸ¤ªðŸ¤¯
“That takes courage. Few girls ever make the final cut. It’s a rough game. People get hurt. People die. She rose from the hood, making herself taller than me. A flicker of anger lay in her eyes. “I’m not like other girls.

Can guys and girls stop saying that sentence?? What is wrong with being like other girls? Other girls are GREAT! Why is it so bad to be like other girls urgh every time someone says that it's triggering me, so me and Dinara we weren't off to a great start.

buuuuut I liked that Dinara wasn't the typical Cora virgin innocent heroine and lusting after the hero for years. I liked that Dinara was unafraid to voice her opinions. That was definitely a plus.

Dinara's past is sad, but I just felt completely detached reading about it. I think it's partly because of Cora's writing style of telling >> showing, because Dinara was raped by countless men/women in the past and there are videos of that and throughout the book it was told that the videos were shown, but i still don't know what ACTUALLY happened. like what EXACTLY did those men do to her besides raping her? i want all the morbid details to form any kind of emotions. the other part is that it reminded me too much of the Mindf*ck series with where the plot when and it wasn't even a good replica. Dinara and Adamo had a list with people that needed to be killed and they all died either with a gun shot or off page and it was just lame.

**✿â¶Ä* the romance 〶Ä*â¶Ä✿ï·×*

my feelings reading about Adamo and Dinara as a couple summed up in gifs

where was the chemistry? where was the flavour? where is the emotinal connection??

I felt more passion @12% when Adamo fingered CJ, his friend with benefit, and when she gave him a blowjob in return
I fingered C.J. until she exploded after only a minute. C.J. sank down on her knees and began sucking me deeply into her mouth until my balls hit her chin. I groaned, my eyes fluttering shut. Over the years, I’d been with several girls, still far less than my brothers, but enough to know that C.J.’s skills were out of this world.

out of this world??? really? I don't think Adamo ever said that about Dinara's blowjob skills but i might be wrong since I skimmed a lot of their scenes bc of boredom

like the upstanding citizen Adamo is he doesn't want to start something with Dinara while he still has sexual relations with CJ so he goes to CJ to break it off @24%.

After all Dinara and Adamo do is get it on ... EVERYWHERE. 95% of their bonding consists of them fucking and the rest of 5% is them killing off the people who wronged Dinara. That's all they do. Would their smut at least be good, but again b o r i n g. They could have talked about so many important topic like Adamo's trauma, because he was tortured and kidnapped. Dinara's drug abuse and suicide attempt? But nada, it was all physical. The romance didn't cut it for me and was dryer than every metaphor i could come up with.

**✿â¶Ä* the silver lining 〶Ä*â¶Ä✿ï·×*

Remo Falcone... a.k.a Daddy and the best character that came out of this series. I loved Remo and Adamo's relationship. How after so many years Adamo finally understood why Remo reasoning for everything and that at the heart of it Remo only wants what's best for Adamo and the family. Adamo and Remo had a rocky relationship in the previous books and seeing them getting to a mutual understanding and love... we love to see it.

there weren't many Falcone family moments since most TC takes place at the race track outside of Las Vegas. but the few scenes with the Falcones I loved them. I love Kiara and Adamo's relationship. I love seing all the kids growing up.. Nevio and Greta are already 8 years old in this book .. the hell where did the time go?? 😭
“If Greta fell in love with an enemy, could he stop you from killing him if his love for her was true and if he tried to prove it to you by risking his life?
“No, Remo said without hesitation. “Even if that meant Greta would never forgive you? “Greta can’t be separated from Nevio, nor should she be separated from her family. We are her safe haven. I’d never allow anyone to take that from her, not even for love.

👀👀👀👀 is that Cora leaving little crumbs for the second generation spin off?????? Is she telling us that she would kill Amo if he would dare come on Camorra territory even if it means that Great wouldn't forgive him.. i'm intrigued.

What a fantastic and surprising plot! Definitely different from previous ones in this series. Perhaps most similar to a mix of Twisted Emotions and Twisted Pride. This was not my favorite book, however, it was still good.

Just know that this should be slathered in trigger warnings, more than any other book in this series. I was horrified to the point that I felt physically ill.

Overall, I would recommend this book if you want to continue the series.
Prereview:
I can’t wait for this to come out! Probably won’t be for a while :(
â¤ï¸FIFTH EDIT:
On the wiki, it says “Dinara: Eden's daughter, lives in Chicago and “Eden: prostitute of the Camorra (employed at the Sugar Trap) after being given to Remo Falcone by Grigory to suffer, mother of Dinara. Not sure how accurate this information is, but it’s interesting...
🧡FOURTH EDIT:
Okay, so... Dinara’s last name is Mikhailov (very Russian sounding) and she is a relative of the boss of the Bratva, Grigory. I am guessing she is a relative either through her father or Grigory is her father since her mother works for the Camorra. Wow!!!

💛THIRD EDIT:
Dinara is mentioned in Twisted Pride as a daughter of Eden, a prostitute. Dinara is commonly a Russian name, so there is a definite possibility she has a connection to the Russians...

💚SECOND EDIT:
On Reilly’s website it says the book is about Adamo and Dinara. Who the heck is Dinara??? Please, someone, anyone, help me!!! Perhaps, she will be in one of the new books?...

💙·¡¶Ù±õ°Õ:
So, the title has come out. Twisted Cravings. This leads me to believe either their arranged marriage works out well or Adamo goes against his family for a girl he craves... possibly an enemy. Maybe it could be a girl that is apart of the Russian Bratva... or it could be a situation like Savio’s where he wants her so bad that they arrange a marriage for the two of them. We also found out that Adamo is living in New York in the contents of Twisted Hearts, so maybe he will find a girl in New York. This definitely supports the Marcella theory because even though New York and Las Vegas aren’t enemies, Luca won’t be too happy to give Marcella away!

💜°¿¸é±õ³Ò±õ±·´¡³¢:
Reilly is so good at creating such complex characters, so I’m really excited for this one. I am not sure if he will be still rebelling against his family in the beginning, but I bet there will be lots of angst.

I really hope this book is set pretty far into the future, possibly even making Adamo into his late twenties or early thirties since the rest of them were young in their books and we can see what will happen and quickly have books about the twins and younger characters! It also would be a huge contrast from the thirteen year old we all remember and help change our view of him from a sweet little boy to a powerful man. I feel that if he was around 18 or something he would still be a little boy in my mind.

I am super excited and I wonder if his love interest (if there is one, which there probably will be) will be a recurring character, a new character, or one introduced in Savio’s book. I also wonder if he will be like Fabio and be pretty innocent in the books you see him in earlier, but then all of a sudden be super “evil in his book. 🖤🖤🖤

I also hope that the heroine (if there is one) will be from outside the mafia life like in Fabio’s book or at least super innocent in it. That would be interesting since Adamo hates it so much. Definitely not the girl who cheated on him somehow. Maybe even a foreigner would be cool though. Or someone from the real Italian or Sicilian mafia. Possibly the Bratva would be nice since they have had issues with them. It would be very original and interesting if he secretly stayed a Virgin until marriage and both him and his wife were virgins when they married. A pregnancy and children would also be great since I could really see him as a family man.

I think the most likely scenario, though, is Adamo and Marcella. I could see her actively pursuing him and then him succumbing. A lot of people are saying Dante’s daughter, but I feel that it unlikely given Adamo will have few chances to visit Chicago.

I kind of invision Adamo as we have seen him as Timothée Chalamet, brooding, but boyish. I would like to see him a little grown up so I don’t keep this image in my mind. Although I really liked Chalamet as Laurie in “Little Women.

"I knelt before her and raised her heels onto my shoulders before I plunged into her. As always when we met after a long time, we fucked all night until we were spent"

Hot right?

🎆A vryyy steamy scene with OW? ðŸÇ¹ðŸŽ‡
Am I saying Adamo had more chemistry with the OW?
YOU BET I AM

It was one of those books.......
Where the concept of the story is good but the execution is poor.

First of all
I don't see how Dinara is anymore special than all girls he had f**ked before?
Bitch he literally cuddles them 🤢 now that’s not wrong okay?
But when you see a better connection he had with a certain OW, than he had with the female lead then that's where it gets wrong.

It turned me offffff.

You can't tell me to love a man who does pillow talk with the OW butÌý never had a heart to heart convo with the significant other.
Dinara seemed disposable to me
She could have been any one! PERIOD

Y'all I can't stand a man when he is like
"Oh mi gosh you should respect women, they should be treated right, " then f**ks around.

My point is IF ADAMO FALCONE IS THATTTTT SAINT,Ìý IF HE HAS SUCH RIVER OF GOODNESS FLOWING FROM HIS DICK HEART THEN WHY HE F**CKS CJ AFTER MEETING DINARA?

Have you girls have ever come across a man who plays the sweet boy card to get LAID?
Well well well Adamo Falcone is at your service ma'am 😌.

His brothers were wh**es and they owned it!!Ìý They Didn't FUCKING pretend

Okay so y'all might say, didn't all the CR men f**cked other women?Ìý Then why are so triggered by Adamo?

a) They didn’t play "I am a good boy I want love in my life" then slept with other woman
after meeting their significant other you see where I am coming from?Ìý

b)I Don't know how to explain it but with Remo, Savio and loml Nino the smut with other woman was superrr detached!Ìý It's more like I want food I will have it
But Adamo tho......it was like he is as
much INTO it with CJ as much he is with "his girl"

Only iconic thing that happened in this book 💕 and I feel preached
⬇ï¸â¬‡ï¸â¬‡ï¸â¬‡ï¸â¬‡ï¸â¬‡ï¸â¬‡ï¸
“You’re trying to be a good girl so people hurt you less?
I frowned then nodded.
“Don’t, he said firmly.
I looked up.
“Don’t ever try to be good to people who hurt you. They don’t deserve it.

And this⬇ï¸

"Become the nightmare even your worst nightmare fears, Ekaterina,

Later with Adamo. I started resenting him less and less because of the amount of effort he put to win Dinara back. Then again I expect nothing less from a Falcone.

"I won’t hide my emotions. I fucking love you and you better deal with it.

So I did warm up to Adamo by the end of the book. But still, I just can't see him as my hero. But he is undoubtedly lovable 💕 and we love a supportive partner 🤗.

“I should have known my emo kid brother finds himself an emo rocker chick.

For f**ks sake!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I laughed for a good 5 minutes

When I say I wanted to love Dinara,Ìý Boy did I try!!

When she refused to talk to Kiara because she thought Kiara's abuse wasn’t hard as Hers around 76%......I lost it!
No one takes my baby Kiara for granted.
I was like sweetheart you literally went through therapy!Ìý You got people who protected you afterwards.
Your father was there to support you!
But Who was there for Kiara?
Who made her feel protected until she married Nino!
Oh yeah!Ìý Let me remind you NONE.

And...also I don't know.......Dinara was giving me the vibes of a girl who separates the boy from his family and It's not a good vibe or energy. (I can't believe they didn’t include Falcone fam in the wedding 🙃).I think Dinara made no effort to make a bond with Adamo's family, where Adamo tried his best to win Dinara's family. It seemed so egomaniac and petty of her.
Also, Dinara could marry Adamo have kids with him but she isn’tÌý allowed to change her Sir name or have a permanent place with him?Ìý Yeah that perfectly made sense 😒🥱

Ngl at some point this book was definitely a 2.5 or 3 but it was just sooo sloppy.
I Don't wanna Re-read it ever.
I mean I didn't even care for the epilogue,Ìý can y'all tell how much I actually love this book fr 😂😂?

Hence It's 2/5 for me.

P.S-Smoking is such a nasty habit,Ìý harmful not Only for you but people around us. Cora Reilly literally made it a "couple thing"
I hope authors will stop portraying it as something cool.

Update: lowering it 1 star. I still love it but after reading BSIR, I have to adjust it a bit

4.5 ‘Free-Spiritedâ€ stars âï¸

“I’d lived too many fears to bow to them.

Twisted Cravings is the last installment in the Camorra Chronicles series and ladies, it ended perfectly.

Racing is Adamo’s passion. Finally finding his place between the brothers, he takes over the car racing business for Camorra following his path. One day, he meets witty Dinara and can’t stop the pull towards her even when he knows she means trouble.

Adamo wasn’t my favorite Falcone but girls, he grew up. I love this version of him, sweet and matured but also twisted. So good to see him finally find his place and peace.

Dinara is my highlight of the book. She’s sassy, cheeky. Cora was right when said she’s resilient because she’s strong and her character development was amazing. I don’t think we ever saw a character like her in Cora’s books.

“Fake it till you make it. I could do that for her, if this was what she needed.

The two complement each other. Both go in a journey of fall in love, discover themselves to later fight to be themselves and defeat their demons together and individually. The way they love and support each other, how they hold each other was so beautiful. Kiara says they aren’t romantic (ok, she’s right cause they make Nino sound like the most romantic yet ahahah) but they prove you don’t need the most romantic acts to make your heart ache and swoon for them. They’re two wild souls looking for freedom and peace. I love their chemistry, their banter, their sexual tension.

If you love the Camorra Chronicles and even if you fear if the author will deliver, trust me. She will. Adamo is a Falcone after all and Dinara is unique in her own way.

To end this review, I confess its a bittersweet moment. Saying goodbye to these characters (the whole family) is painful but at same, I couldn’t have asked for more.

Thank you, Cora. Thank you for these characters, for this book. This series was a rollercoaster of emotions.

*BR with Mel!* 🤪 i'm glad i had a ranting buddy while reading this book so i didn't have to suffer alone.

 2.5 stars

i’m honestly not hard to please. you can probably tell by the amount of 4-5 stars i have on my read shelf so when i give something below 3 stars, i actually do mean it. Adamo, alongside Remo, is my favorite character in CR’s mafia universe so maybe it was my fault for having high expectations on his book (despite knowing TH and FL disappointed me) but i just really wanted my baby to have his happy ending. :/

the best way i could describe my feelings towards this book:
description

@ the flavor, the spice, the emotional connection:
description

â€¼ï¸ SPOILERS AHEAD ‼ï¸

Adamo (H) & Dinara (h)
 as individuals:
i feel like Adamo was Adamo...but not really at the same time? idk how to explain it, but there was something different about him and, no, it wasn’t because he grew up. i can’t tell if it’s a good or bad thing. *flashbacks to Savio on how i’d prefer him as a side character rather than main* BUT! despite me feeling unsure about him here, he'll always remain one of my favorites in this universe. as for Dinara, i honestly don't have much thoughts about her. i felt for her because of what she had to go through as a child (also, the confrontation she had with Eden brought me to tears) but, aside from that, she doesn’t stay memorable for me personally.

 as a couple:
the romance is something i really wanna touch upon because...wait, was there even romance?? tbh, the lack of (romantic) development between these two was something that bothered me throughout the book. rather than emotional connection, their relationship felt more physical and i hate that in my romances because i’m all about the slow burn and development. 😭 the fact that Adamo didn’t end things with C.J. until 24% into the book took away the possible development he could have had with Dinara during that time imo. i wish he had broken things off with her before the book started. because of this, i felt nothing during Adamo and Dinara’s cute moments later on. trust me, they definitely had cute scenes that i would have found cute if i was invested in their romance...but it was a blur to me. 😫

why the 2.5 stars?
Remoooo. is that even a question? 😌 i swear, every time he appears in a scene, i’m just reminded of why i love him so much. (+1 star)
Falcone family moments. okay but seeing the whole gang together was super cute!! 😭 and omg baby Nevio all grown up, i- i’m not ready djfdbh but the scene when he was training with Remo. 🥺 (+1 star)
The flashback scene. the one flashback shown here 35% into the book with Dinara and Eden going to Remo was honestly great because i was (finally) able to feel invested in what was happening and Remo was just amazing during that scene. (+0.5 star)

i hate how, despite my disappointment with TH, FL and now this, i’m still excited for SantinoAnna’s book (i know it’s not confirmed they’re endgame cause of the whole love triangle, but they’re my ship ). 🥺
description

anyways. lemme reread twisted pride to have my remofina fix because these two are the only ones who can bring back my sanity.

not at me crying bc we finally know how long we have to wait for this!! mark your calendars for march 2021, y'all 🥺

my baby Adamo better have a happy ending cause he deserves the world. 😭

Thoughts after reading this book:

1. Can't believe I anticipated this book so much only for it to end up being boring asf. The romance did nothing for me and those poorly executed Mindf*ck series vibes... hmm I think I'm gonna to pass.

2. Moral of the story: you don't need therapy to heal your past traumas, just have sex and go on a killing spree with your significant other.

3. Adamo Falcone? is he a side character or something? Sorry I don't remember much of him in this story... 0 personality beyond the car races and checking Dinara's ass and tits and lusting after her. seems that all the trauma and conflicts about him that we saw in the previous books never existed.

4. 1 star for Dinara being different from other Cora Reilly characters, and 1 star for the Falcone family crumbs, even when they felt OOC to me.

5. Why is C.J. still alive?? Cora Reilly please come to the stand and explain to the jury why having Adamo have sex with her while he was a minor wasn't enough for you, so you decided that they could be friends with benefits over the years, share "something special" AND ALSO INCLUDE A SEX SCENE BETWEEN THEM IN THE FIRST CHAPTERS!!! Ew, woman, what was your reasoning for that? just nope.

2 stars

This was so boring. I hate Insta-lust which was the foundation of this book. They didn’t have any kind of connection between them and no development in their relationship. it was all about sleeping together and racing together. There wasn’t much going on between them. I was so bored.

I like Adamo in the beginning of the series, but stopped when he decided to act like a brat. We could blame it on his age, but nope for me he’s just a brat. A bland brat. By the first introduction, Dinara literally said “I’m not like the other girls and it was a a major turn off, like yikes. It’s been so long since I’ve heard that sentence. I thought people stopped using it??

#3 Twisted pride ~ 4.5 stars

What I was expecting:

 Adamo's journey in New York
 More Falcones
 Emotional story

What I got:
Everything is about Dinara, not Adamo
The typical "I am not like other girls" cause she smokes cigarettes, races, and had sex with her bodyguard
Adamo just didn't grow up. He became a brat.

Overall, absolutely dissatisfying.

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
No me gustó.

FINALLY READ AND REVIEWED!

⬇ï¸â¬‡ï¸â¬‡ï¸â¬‡ï¸â¬‡ï¸
____________________________
Of all the Falcone brothers, Adamo is the one I empathize with the most and absolutely cannot wait to read what is in store for him.!!!
____________________________

Hot damn, thought for a bit there that Adamo wasn't gonna have a story to tell when I read Twisted Pride, but have no fear. I'm confident that if anything, his future story just got more interesting. Fingers crossed.
___________________

Finished Twisted Bonds and honestly I felt a strong sense of disappointment in Adamo and sadness as well throughout the book. It was very intriguing, however, to see his character grow and change and turn into something else as shit happens to and around him. It's very eye-opening to see the faults in a character so blatantly and feel repulsed yet still unable of looking away. To vividly portray an authentic representation of the less than stellar side of being human, it's jarring to say the least. And wonderfully depicted.
____________________

Okay, finished Savio's book and loved the little we got to see of q Adamo and the little tidbits of info of the peeps in New York. God, I want this book even more now! Shit's happening over there and I want to know what it is. Why did Adamo really stay longer and how is the dynamic between him and Growl(I freakin' miss him and Cara, argh). I wanna know about the New York Famiglia!!!!!
____________________________

*Will likely contain spoilers, reader discretion is advised.*

OKAY. I have now read Adamo's story. Reilly really had something cooking with the mafia/bratva-style Bonnie and Clyde/Romeo and Julliet meets Fast and the Furious.

Annnnnd that's about as generic of a description I can give without giving spoilers. This book is honestly so much more that you just must read in order to fully digest the world Adamo and Dinara live in.

I gotta say that I really enjoyed this twist of circumstances that brings two people from opposing sides of the same dangerous world together and takes a route I never thought existed.

Adamo being Camorra and a Falcone.
Dinara a Bratva princess and a Mikhailov.

The general situation in regards to there place in the mob world is not unlike his two oldest brothers and their wives, including Fabiano. These couples came to be from opposite ends of life's spectrum. And somehow Reilly was able to ultimately create intricate routes and unique stances for the characters to be in whilst using the same fundamentals. A similar foundation, and built up from there.

Anyone can write a mafia romance, but when you are capable of making that entire story stand out among the rest, that takes precision in the details of character building, the setting, the timeline, etc.

The outcome of Adamo and Dinara's relationship was something I never thought was possible. Never occurred to me. Look at Remo and Serafina, she had to cute ties with her family in the Outfit. Nino and Kiara, she was the first to marry into the family and cut ties with the Famiglia in New York.

And that is how it usually is with these types of romances. It's all or nothing. But not with Adamo and Dinara. They were able to find a middle ground for themselves and at the same time appease both families.

I still consider Adamo my favorite brother, but not my favorite story, unfortunately. That award goes the Remo.

Nevertheless, this deserves a 4-star rating because even though this may not be the last book in this series or of this world, I feel that I have finally reached the closure I needed.

I have been anticipating this book for the longest time and Cora delivered. I always knew I was going to love this book but it exceeded all expectations and is undoubtedly Cora’s best book, in my opinion.

Dinara is hands down the best heroine and unlike any Cora has written before. Strong, brave, sassy, I fell in love with her immediately. And Adamo. He’s always been my fave, but his growth was everything. The two complimented each other perfectly and I was gripped reading their journey together.

Twisted Cravings differed to the other books in the series. For starters, it is darker, but it differed in other ways too. It was a tale of two free-spirited individuals trying to find peace from awful pasts, and when I say I teared up several times, I mean it. Twisted Cravings is the true definition of a rollercoaster of emotions.

Saying goodbye is bittersweet as the Falcones are my favourite family, but it couldn’t have been done in a better way. Adamo found his own place in the family and it was perfect. I’ll miss them dearly.

Amazing work, Cora!!

Adamo was ok. Heroine was a messed up girl. She was smoking, she was doing drugs. Usually Cora's heroines are innocent and if they are not innocent they are at least sweet and vulnerable like Kiara. Also I didn't feel the chemistry. I didn't like that her ex boyfriend was still in the picture. I love Remo and Fina and their kids so I was glad to see them again but other than that this book was a let down!

P.S Not my words but like another reviewer wisely said:

“Maybe we’d been born on different sides but fate had thrown us together because we were meant to be, because no one would ever see the world the way we did.

Like all the other fans of this series, I really really wanted Adamo to get the book he deserved. He was that sweet innocent kid that we all looked forward to reading about, but as you can probably see from my rating this book just didn’t do it for me.

Look, I still hate Savio the most (by far) out of the leads, but I can’t even give this book the 3 stars that Twisted Hearts got because that was purely for Gemma and I didn’t like Dinara as much as her. Anyway, let’s get into it so I can explain.

⇢A»å²¹³¾´Ç and Dinara
Okay, the worst part of this book is the wasted potential for this couple. Unfortunately, the set up and idea behind this book was great, so when you read it you can see exactly how much you’re being let down.

1. The Trope
Adamo and Dinara could have served a rivals to lovers with their racing obsession, but an insta-love? Or insta-attraction or whatever? WHY?? I don’t know ANYONE who prefers insta-love to rivals to lovers so I have no idea why Cora Reilly made this book one.

2. The Development
Maybe this is just me but aside from Dinara getting her revenge (which I will talk about later) there was barely any character development? Or development of their relationship? It felt like as soon as Adamo decided he liked Dinara their relationship barely changed, apart from the epilogue and when Dinara met the Falcones near the end.

⇢A»å²¹³¾´Ç

As a character I won’t say Adamo was bad, because he wasn’t. He just wasn’t a good character either. I felt nothing. I mean, at least with Savio I felt something, even if that something was mostly negative. But Adamo was literally more interesting in his brother’s books, which is kind of sad. I really wish Adamo was more like his past self And where was the trauma Adamo apparently had after being kidnapped?

⇢D¾±²Ô²¹°ù²¹
On the other hand, Dinara did provide a bit more interest to the plot than Adamo. However, she just wasn’t compelling enough to make this book more intriguing.

I didn’t mind the scenes where she and Adamo were getting revenge for her past, but I feel like it didn’t even take up much of the book and ultimately there needed to be more conflicts to keep things interesting! I mean, in other books there were similar plot lines where someone was getting revenge, but it was never the only conflict But I will say that it was great seeing Dinara healing over her trauma.

“Adamo’s not the hero in this story. Nor are you or my father. I’ll be the hero in my story.

⇢The Plot
Overall, the point I’m trying to make is that this book was not nearly as interesting as it needed to be. Both the plot and the romance weren’t strong enough, and even the characters weren’t likeable enough to make up for it :( I definitely wanted a few things to be included that weren’t:

1. Better development of the romance
2. More racing scenes! I thought there would be more focus on the competitions
3. More scenes with the rest of the Falcones. Those scenes were the ones I enjoyed the most.

*2.5

Twisted Cravings is the sixth and final instalment of the Camorra Chronicles.

Twisted Cravings is unlike any other mafia book that I have previously read and that’s what makes it unique, just like the couple it’s about. Although it’s dark, very dark, it’s also extremely invigorating. The thrill factor of the illegal races is an exciting concept thrown into the mix. I could feel my adrenaline rushing whilst racing through this book, once I started I couldn’t bear to put it down.

Adamo is a far cry from the sulky, grumpy teenager that we were once familiar with. He has fully grown up into a confident young man, who knows what he wants and fights to get it. Whilst Adamo has always been significantly different than his older brothers, their fierce loyalty and need to protect those that they love is what binds them together for life. Where in the past, his brothers obsessions with violence and bloodshed caused rifts between them. Now, Adamo proves that he is a Falcone through and through, by showing how brutality runs in their blood.

Dinara on the other hand is a red hot firecracker and an enigma. She is one of the fiercest female characters within this world, stubborn as hell and tempered with a spine of steel. Never one to back down from a challenge, her character easily grows on you. She is extremely witty with her banter and gives Savio a run for his money. Very unlike the other girls but she’s absolutely perfect for Adamo, the darkness they both harbour is what ultimately brings them together.

Adamo and Dinara together are a force to be reckoned with, they are two halves of a single soul who were destined to meet and end up together. Their attraction to one another is undeniable, their chemistry is like when oil meets fire, it burns deep. Their feelings for one another ignites a spark so bright that it doesn’t fizzle out. Although at times, they struggle to allow themselves to be vulnerable, they wear their hearts on their sleeves which made my heart melt.

This is the first book that I have read in a long time where I could see all of the words written immediately come to life. Scenes are communicated so incredibly well that it creates vivid images. I have a feeling Adamo and Dinara’s story will stay with me for a while, and that’s ok because I’m so not over them, because they’re the type of characters that take your breath away with their brutal and raw honesty.

As I finished off the last chapter of this book I couldn’t help but feel melancholic at the thought of leaving behind the first generation of the Camorra. The family who truly won our hearts over and made us root for the monsters of Las Vegas. It’s a bittersweet feeling, but prepare yourself for one last ride with the OG Falcone brothers. This book was truly well worth the wait, hats off to Cora Reilly, I now eagerly anticipate for Sins of the Fathers, but more importantly the Falcone children.

remo falcone he just never fails to be the legend that he is. and, my heart is just full with all my remo and adamo content. 🥰

ever since i first met Adamo in the camorra chronicles, he’s always been my baby. he was always so different from his brothers: softer and naive because he was the youngest in the family and was always more sheltered than Remo, Nino, Savio as well as Fabiano. and, since he was always a kid in the other books so to see him as an adult in his own book was actually a treat for me because his development into a grown man and a man in love as well as accepting his life + destiny in the camorra world like his brothers it just all came to a full circle.

what i loved about this book:
 Remo and Adamo’s relationship:
one of my biggest excitement for this book was just getting more content for Remo Falcone, especially because of the way his and Adamo’s relationship has been portrayed throughout the series. Savio’s book, Twisted Hearts had left us with Remo and Adamo being in a conflict which is something very prominent in their relationship since their views on things are disagreeable especially when it comes to Camorra and Remo as a Capo. because Adamo has never dealt with mob life personally like his brothers, he has also never experienced what his brothers have. but, in Twisted Cravings we finally get to see Adamo experiencing what his brothers had in their past and also him coming to terms of why Remo’s decisions are the way they are. i LOVED seeing the growth and development between Adamo and Remo’s relationship, mostly the way how every other character said that “Adamo is just like Remo. there’s this one line that Nino says and it made my heart so soft because the way Remo treats Adamo, it’s always how like a father is to his son. and, the way Remo would get so protective of Adamo every single time he was mentioned, my heart. Adamo is definitely Remo’s first son.

“I always wondered if I’d ever see that look in your eyes. I dragged my gaze toward Nino, my blood rushing in my ears and pulse throbbing in my temples. “What look? I barely recognize my voice. It was laced with venom, not directed at my brother. Nino briefly glanced toward Remo, who must have entered while I’d been absorbed in the horrors on the screen, before he said, “A look I usually only see in Remo’s eyes. The hunger for blood and violence. The need for death and destruction. As a baby and younger child, you looked exactly like Remo. And on occasion a similar temper would shine through.

✨another thing that hyped me was seeing how Remo played a significant role in this book just like he does in every other book. he's just so central in every book like most of Cora’s books are always incomplete to me without Remo’s presence so to see more of him as a father, a husband, a brother in law and as a capo really did it for me. i mean let’s be Cora didn’t say he’s the best capo for no reason.

 Falcone Family Moments:
gah! i love me some wholesome family moments and scenes. though there weren’t many as i would have loved, but the ones that did exist were all so good. all the different interactions whether they were among the couples, the second generation or just in a whole with each other have my heart. especially since the second generation is also getting their own series, to see them as kids does give a little insight in how their character might shape up to be. ofcourse Remo and Serafina's genes keep thriving: Nevio and Greta are my babies even though Nevio is far from being a soft baby, he’s like how i would imagine Remo to be as a kid, so mischievous and full of sass. also, the way Adamo’s relationship with all his brothers is so different from one to the other, it’s always so interesting to see them bonding and being together.

⤿moving on to the actual characters of this book, Dinara Mikhailov and Adamo Falcone: if i had to compare Dinara to one of Cora’s other female characters, to me she is a mixture of Gemma, Gianna and Leona. she has quirks and yet, she’s soft and subtle. in overall, i liked her and her development in facing her past and fears.

what did not work for me:
 the romance:
Dinara and Adamo do balance each other out especially the way Dinara is the least romantic one in the relationship, but at the same time they are quite similar. however, what didn’t work for me was their romance and the lack of development of their romantic relationship. i’m not a fan of the insta lust/love trope which Dinara and Adamo's relationship executed, and as soon as they became friends, everything just moved from there too fast in my opinion. so i felt disconnected to them as a couple also because their relationship didn’t have any phase or growth to it, it all seemed the same to me. there were times where i found the romance a bit dry and bland. it just was not my kind of romance, though they do share some cute moments. and, adamo in love, he's such a cutie.

 overall story:
the book starts off three years after Adamo’s stay in New York, before reading it i had thought that the book would follow Adamo’s experience in New York and then there would be a time jump which wasn’t the case. so the story starts right off with Adamo in the racing camp which made sense racing has always been his passion, but it was kind of hard for me to get into the book in the beginning, i don’t know if it was because i had exams and couldn’t read it in one sitting or i was just too excited about it and couldn’t focus. but there were parts of the book that felt boring, especially the romance, and a lot of it taking place in the racing camp. i think one of the biggest thing for me was that i wasn’t really invested in Adamo and Dinara’s relationship from the beginning since i already knew which couple was my favorite one out of the series. i was more invested in Adamo and his platonic relationships than his romantic one. and, though the setting of the book made sense for it to be in a racing camp, i personally wanted it to be more centered around his actual home like his other brothers' stories. also, the overall plot of this book was no different from Cora's other books, infact it was quite similar to them mostly in relation to Dinara's character.

 conclusive rambles:
twisted cravings was one of my most anticipated books of this year, however sadly, it did not live up to those expectations that i had from it. to me, the book felt underwhelming which i do get is also because of me thinking about Adamo’s story unraveling in a whole different way compared to what Cora actually had in her mind. though i wouldn’t say it was her worst book, or the worst book in the series because it was not. there were definitely a lot of moments that i loved throughout the book, and even overall to me it was not a horrible book, but it just wasn’t my top read either which i thought it would be.
also, the epilogue was quite interesting and cute at the same time, just going to leave my thoughts here about how i now have different theories about a certain character for the future.
can’t wait to see how the kids grow up and become adults themselves and how they take the reign over their fathers and mothers legacies in Sins of the Father, BUT also, can't wait to see these same characters who have come such a long way especially the Falcone brothers who are now all parents and in love + have families of their own, and how they are going to be with their own children. my heart feels so i love the Falcone brothers so much.

trigger warnings: drug abuse, child abuse, violence and torture.

AHHHH!! Anyone that knows me will tell you I am OBSESSED with Cora Reilly's Camorra series. It started with Remo Falcone and the obsession never ended for his brothers. For that reason when I saw that Adamo was finally getting his book I could not be more excited!! This story was filled to the brim with amazing banter, sexual chemistry and a fiery connection that could not be denied.Ìý

Dinara and Adamo were the most INCREDIBLE match. I loved them so much together! Adamo was so uber sexy. His growth throughout the series was nothing short of tremendous. Reilly did an amazing job highlighting who Adamo was inside and how he fit in with his brothers and the Camorra. HeÌýhas always been different from his brothers and it was showcased beautifully in this story with the racing.ÌýLikewise Dinara was strength personified. There was an undeniable core of steel in her despite the darkness she has lived in. Furthermore, I loved that she gave as good as she got in the male dominated world she grew up in.Ìý

Overall, Reilly did an AMAZING job crafting another Camorra story. Dinara and Adamo were perfect for one another and the darkness within them. I loved every word. 5 stars! ~RatulaÌý

Hope Adamo ends up with Marcella. That would be the most exciting book ever! Maybe he met Marcella in New York and they end up falling for each other, but I hope Adamo is loyal to his brothers

I have been anticipating this one for a while and Cora delivered the best conclusion to this world.

Dinara Mikhailov and Adamo Falcone had a wild ride together. Both with a tortured dark past that affected them in many ways, but at the same time it changed them for better.

What I loved most about the book is how different Dinara is to Cora's characters. She is a free spirit, wild, reckless and resilient. Definitely the best match to our bad boy Adamo.

Thru a wild journey on the road, they face some of the past demons as slowly as their insta attraction grows into something more.

Aside their romance, we get few glimpses to the rest of camorra's members and see how is their journey after their HEA. Also we get to see some of the 2nd generation kids which I'm so thrilled to get into their world!!

I would also love to say that Grigory and Remo are definitely one of the best parts of this book and I hope we get to see them thru other characters books.

Overall, this was the best conclusion the camorra deserved and I highly recommend you to read it!!

Who is Dinara? Will there be another Book about Remo & Serafina? I think they deserve another book. Twisted Pride is my favorite Story. Can't get enough of Remo's madness. I was mad at Serafina for so easily forgiving Remo.

Tw: drug abuse, child abuse, torture, and violence

It's so sad when one scene ruins the whole book, why the scene with CJ, why make the book unsafe by having a descriptive scene of the H having sex and not just mentioning it but a whole chapter, more than 5 pages. as I would be uncomfortable reading the heroine sleep with someone else, I'm uncomfortable reading the hero having sex with details, and with a whore, the diseases he could catch. even if he wasn't officially with the heroine, (they didn't even kiss) but I felt repulsed and couldn't get it out of my head.

The thing is the author is known to include sex scenes of the hero with other women in her books, I don't remember paying attention to it in the past but with Adamo, it annoyed me, I expected better.

I loved how the author dealt with Kiera's past, unlike this book, where everything felt rushed. There's was no emotional connection just sex and it's getting old and boring quite fast.

Most of the cora heroines are inexperienced, but Dinara is not, I would like to say I wasn't annoyed but I was because her ex was still in the picture ( being her bodyguard) and I was just uncomfortable In her place, I always thought sharing your body with someone is something special and you never forget such intimacies and I'm sure every time he sees her, he remembers what they did and what intimacies they shared even if the author implied that he saw her as sister even though he was jealous and wanted another chance. I wouldn't have minded if he wasn't a part of her life anymore. But that is just me, I think a lot of people wouldn't mind.

Cora mentioned she will write a lot of dark books, if she will take the direction of this book in all her future books, I don't think I would read them, not every heroine should be abused or raped to appeal. Books can be darker without rape or abuse. It's just not my cup of tea.

Dinara and Adamo are ex-drug abusers, I think their relationship is very unhealthy, they are dragging each other into the dark, even their entourage Is very unhealthy, those racers all smoke weed and do drugs during camp, so Adamo is always tempted, I don't think someone who wants to stay away from drugs, should associate with junkies. He should stay away from that lifestyle to not relapse. If he and Dinara continued like that, I'm sure they will take drugs when shit gets hard. This was proved when Dinara met her mother and wanted to buy drugs.

After waiting for Adamo's story for a long time, it didn't live up to my expectations he and Dinara's relationship wasn't that interesting. I didn't see any connection between them.

This book was quite average and I was very disappointed but I blame myself for having high expectations.

There has been book by cora that were truly horrible but this one can be described only by one word and that is boring.

This book is about Dinara first then her having sex fest with Adamo, then about races and bits of mafia stuff and then about Adamo.

Dinara “I’m not like other girls is such one dimensional character and only Cora can make competition about sexual assault and trauma.

Adamo as kid I liked because he was different then his brothers but here he is just boring and I couldn’t care less about him.

Plus Dinara and Adamo have no chemistry overall complete waste of time.

Before the book was even released I had written a few words about my excitement.
But now all of it has vanished as I am done with the book.
If it were a standalone and Adamo was someone I had come to know for the first time. Even though the book would have disappointed me. The title said Twisted cravings, I had thought it would be about his journey how he dealt with the addiction, and all that.
So let me make one thing clear. It was not Adamo's story, it was Dinara's story and Adamo played her love interest.
Cora Reily should have told us about his childhood, his inner turmoil when in his mind Remo was just a dictator, and Savio only bullied him.
What he felt about his mother, his struggle with drugs, his time in NewYork working under Luca, and most importantly his bond with Growl. But we got none. She could have done it in just one chapter.
But we got nothing.
It wasn't bad, but I needed to know about his journey to become the man he is now and even becoming organized as he was a pig back then.
And the epilogue was heartbreaking for me as he didn't live in the mansion with his family, nothing changed. He just got a girl. C.J. would have been better opt for him. And the way it foreshadowed I was certain he gonna fall for a wh*re who was trusted into this life or something.
So 3 stars because it was written well, just not up to my high hope.
I love Corea's writing so now my eyes are set for the next-gen Camorristas.

I was kinda scared to read Twisted Craving, after Twisted Heart and Fragile Longing, because honestly i wanted to punch Savio and slapped Danilo; but most important i hated Gemma and Sofia.
Love made them weaker, but love should make you stronger, braver...
And that's what happened with Adamo and Dinara!!
Their "impossible" love made them stronger; it helped them healing from past' scars, and accepting their true nature.
It was an anchor that grounded them to present.

I can't tell you how much i loved Adamo 🤩He's all grown up and he has finally accepted he is a Falcone through and through.
He is so alike Remo yet still different from his brother...
But Dinara is the one who stole my heart!
The Bratva princess who went through hell but never stop fighting!!

The story is totally new, there are not repetition of past' events and i'm grateful because it was kinda annoying reading the same scene many times even if it was from different view point.

I loved the car race world because it's what make Adamo and Dinara different from the previous couples.
But there are still all the elements of mafia romance, like violence and vengeance.

Some twist and turns gonna make your heart beating faster; the chemistry between them gonna make you sweat ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ ;
and the epilogue gonna make you swoon 🖤

With this book, Cora Reilly remind me why i like so much her books, and i couldn't be happier.
Revisiting the Falcone family is just the icing on the cake.

Ps. I LOVE Remo more than ever ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Adamo and Dinara, the Camorra Prince and Bratva Princess.

Adamo isn't the boy we once knew, oh no, not at all! He's grown so much over the years, he's ruthless and fearless but deep down he's still got that sweet side we all grew to love. But it only ever comes out for Dinara. And don't even get me started those throat holds 🥵🥵

Dinara is reckless, confident and fierce, but deep down there's a lost little girl who's determined to be her own hero.

Their paths cross and lead down a road neither of them expected, they're more alike than they could ever imagine, and when their demons come out to play they're an unstoppable force to be reckoned with 😈

They're in for a wild ride and not only on the race track, and they come up against many obstacles, but neither one of them will give up without a fight!

We also got to see some of our beloved characters 😠I have a new found respect for Remo, I was worried because of the conflict between him and Adamo in the past, but as Adamo faces his inner demons, Remo is the one he turns to 🖤

This was a bittersweet ending to the Camorra Chronicles - we've come to love these characters so it's hard to say goodbye but I'm so glad we'll be seeing them again in their children's books 🥰
