44073 Big Fish and Fight Club were both better than the books. No Country for Old Men is nearly scene-for-scene true to the book and I really enjoyed both.

I love Kubruck's 2001: A Space Odyssey, but I've been too scared that Arthur C. Clarke's novel won't live up to the film, so I've not read it, but I think that I should.

What did y'all think of the Benjamin Button adaptation?

44073 I've always wanted to read Star Trek and Star Wars books, but I haven't been able to get myself to do it just yet. You got a good recommendation?
44073 This is a casual group for readers who want to discover new authors. We won't be reading books together or discussing them. However, if you want to open a discussion about a book or make a post about a book that you love, please feel free to do so.

The Bookshelf is the place to post books you've read and loved. This is an excellent way to discover new books as well as share books you enjoyed!

Again, this is casual, so there probably won't be a lot of discussion activity, but hopefully we can get a Bookshelf full of new and exciting reads!
