Hi Terry, no is it as good as all the hype..? If so I might give it a go.

That's one that I have managed to avoid at the moment, however I'm sure with a few good reviews on here I'll soon be picking it up! :-)

Nice... I'm hoping that Counting Crows have Miami and Holiday in Spain on their song sheet next month, but if they sang everyone's favourites they'd be there all year!!

Thanks for the recommendation I have just added it to my ever growing list of books to read... I have fallen into the trap of reading YA dystopia trilogy books lately with the likes of The hunger games, the maze runner and just got the second in the 5th wave series so have been looking for something a little different, hence US and now this one..!

Enter Sandman and One are two of my favourite Metallica songs bet they were amazing to see live..!

I'm more into rock than pop.. Mostly what my friends refer to as "cheesy 80's rock".. Like Def Leppard, Bon Jovi & Bryan Adams, The Boss and Meatloaf are also on in the car more than not... I'm off to see a band called Counting Crows next month when they play in Manchester so really looking forward to that.!

Just downloaded "US" on iBooks read about 20 or so pages and it's started off pretty funny. I must confess that I haven't read any if his previous books so if this one carries on as it's started I'll have another back catalogue to work through :-)

I'm still trying to find something to fill the void left by Dexter, I've bought the box set and watched them all again!!
Tried to get into The Leftovers and The Strain but just can't get into them, hopefully they start to pick up soon, otherwise I'm stuck with CSI and NCIS till Marvels Agents of SHIELD returns..!

Hi Carol I've heard lots of good things about that and is already on my to read list..
I've just started reading Burial Rites by Hannah Kent and can't seem to put it down..!

Whoops just added that to the wrong thread.. Sorry!

Hiya Kate I have 2 year old twins so not much chance of getting an opportunity to curl up with a good book during my two weeks off..! Fingers crossed they're soo excited and worn out I manage to get a few early nights out off them!!! .. Enjoy your festive break

Hi I have just started The Revisionists by Thomas Mullen.. This will be the third book of his that I have read this year! (The last town on earth and The many deaths of the firefly brothers, being the other two).. It's started off well..!
