Where to begin!

First of all, this book has the best representation of trans experience AND the best descriptions of trauma responses and dissociation I’ve ever seen. It also gave me new language to describe what dysphoria feels like, which I LOVED!!

The characters in this book are also incredibly well thought out with very believable and fulfilling arcs. If I have any complaints, it’s that Tessa’s arc and reconciliation with Wyatt could have been fleshed out just a little bit more. I loved the w

This book was amazing. I loved almost everything about it from the characters to plot. It was a very good read that had me hooked until the very end. Sure, you wanted to slap the characters sometimes, but that's what makes the realistic. I get there could be some gripes with the writing because it is kind of juvenile in a way, but I never really liked really complex writing, so it was perfect for me. My only complaint is the pacing, it always seemed to be at the same level. Like it started here ...more

bought this solely because i read "gay trans witch", "royal fiancé", "faery kingdom" and "trauma" on the back and i couldnt have been more intrigued.
4.5 stars because this slapped A LOT and the gays won sO hard with this one, i loved the characters and the rep in this was so good and i'm excited for part two to come out next year.
