What Members Thought
This book really wasn't as good as Divergent, and I got lost a little during the audio, but I still understood most of it. More bad people, more betrayal, more plot twists, and then more winning at the end. What's new with old-style dystopians.
There was so much arguing in this book, and I was so over it by the end. So many hypocrites, so much hatred as well. This felt much more character-driven than plot-driven.

Okay first things first, if you've not read Divergent then stop reading this and go read that instead! This is one of my favourite series so I'm not going to hold back, so there may be quite a few spoilers. Okay, formalities out of the way, lets begin...

What a wonderful second installment of 'Divergent'. So nicely done. I am so excited to read the third book in this series. One thing I love most about my favorite books is when there are surprises in store for me. I love the twists and turns that 'Insurgent' took! I loved this. Loved it. I adore Veronica Roth's writing, it is just so exciting at all times and I have no idea what she is going to do next! She has zero problem just killing people off which breaks my heart sometimes. There was some parts of the plot that didn't make complete sense to me but I think all will be explained later. My biggest problem was that Tris kept lying to Tobias, I kind or wanted to smack her.

This book was amazing! I really enjoyed every part from the beginning to the end. I love the way Tris deals with many difficult situations and makes decisions she thinks are the best. If I was her, I wouldn't be selfless enough to risk my life and sacrifice things and people I love. I love how she thinks logically, and relatively fast, like the Erudite. Okay so I am loving this series! I love where Roth went with this series.. I personally think it's very different than Hunger games. But then again i have only seen the movie! I know I know don't kill me! Anyways I am intrigued to find out what in fact is beyond the faction borders. I am truly a die hard Divergent fan!!!!!

2nd time round, I think I would give it more of a 4� though I won't be changing my rating. I forgot so much about the book & I just throughly enjoyed it. It was a tad too long for what happened in the book though.

Good continuation to the first book. But like all middle books, it seems difficult to maintain the suspense. Can't wait to read the third and final book.
