I wish I had read this before seeing all of the movies and cartoons and Muppets! I enjoyed reading it, but I could not get the visions of the movies out of my head throughout. It was a little distracting but I still loved it.

Basically what I expected, after having seen many a rendition. The language was certainly challenging at times, but not terrible. What surprised me was Dickens' humor in his writing and the amount of times that I chuckled. All in all, a pleasant introduction to the realm of Charles Dickens. ...more
