Jnix: I tore through this book VERY quickly, which is unusual for my slow reader self. It鈥檚 both horrific and beautiful and an epic of human struggle against a pandemic, divine beings, and the evils of other humans. The ending brought me to tears, and my new all time favourite quote comes from one of the final chapters. Great writing style, pacing, character growth, all that good stuff that makes a book great.

Read this as a Buddy Read in a Book Club I'm in and it was great! Berserk Vibes. I loved the horror aspect of the adventure, pretty much the single biggest motivator to reading chapter by chapter! I'm a little sad it is only one book and not a series, I really started to get attached to Thomas and Delphine and it's a shame there isn't more! If anyone has more books that have similar vibes to this I would be excited to take a look at them. ...more
