Wendell Bambleby is my favorite thing about this book and for very obvious reasons. 👀 Love Emily too, but the book literally didn't start for me until his introduction. 🤣 As I was starting the book, I was kind of worried because I wasn't really enjoying it or vibing with the writing style, which really concerned me because I was so confident I would like it!! Oh, how I loved this story! For some reason reading this book felt very similar to the feelings I had while I devoured The Folk of the Air trilogy. The plot is very different, the characters are nothing alike, and yet, I had the same vibes.
