Harrison's series is one of the best out there in urban fantasy. Her characters are alive, and garner my sympathy. Every last one of them. I was on the verge of tears when Kisten died. When, as a reader, you get to know the characters THAT well, you know the writer has a true gift.

This installment of The Hallows series sucked me back in to the life of Rachel. There are some suprising and unexpected character developments and the storyline takes a great leap forward. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
