This is a great follow up book to City of Bones!! I like the overall arching theme of the series so far, and I also liked the storyline that was particular to this book. I have a lot of ideas about what might happen in the next one, and I hope I'm not entirely accurate because then that would mean the series was a tad too predictable.. but I'll find out as soon as I get the next one from the library.

I really enjoyed this book. Because the characters and general world had already been established in the first book, there was much more room for action. I also thought that Cassandra Clare's writing was more solid in this one. And I really like the complicated Clary/Jace relationship.
