I can't get in to these BDB books. I think the author tries to hard to be "cool." The slang and music in her books feels forced, like she has no real understanding of what a fan of rap music would listen to so she just name-drops the popular 50-Cent. It's like listening to someone's mother trying to relate to her teenage son.
Everything in these books is too much the same. Same enemies, same settings. It is getting boring.

There are people who pooh-pooh true real lasting love and say it doesn't exist. Stories like this are proof that it is real and love can change your life.
