I enjoyed this book and I thought it was a nice addition to the series. It was more relationship focused than the other two books but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Harper had at times felt almost asexual before this but that's certainly no longer the case.
I've always loved Quinton so I was very happy to see a lot more of him.

It's always so refreshing to run across a tough and highly competent lady PI who can hold her own against any male counterpart. I liked this book so much, I'm going to go back and read the first two novels. I hope the series will not degenerate to a sexy/romantic one the way the Anita Blake books has become.

Finally finished it. It was pretty good but for some reason I just couldn't read it all at one time. The characters are good and the story is interesting, it just didn't grab hold of me.
