Els contes de Hemingway sobten perquè sovint no tenen ni un principi ni un final convencional. Sembla com si el "tio" escrivÃs tota una historia però després en publiqués només una part. Com si et posessis a mirar una pel.licula que fa estona que ha començat, no saps de que va però t'agrada, i de sobte marxa la llum i tampoc en pots veure el final.
