I give this book all the stars!!! So, darn good. This book is brilliantly written and kept me on the edge of my seat. One of my favorite books that I have read and Tarver & Lilac have now made my all time OTP list.

This book is basically a cross between Interstellar (movie) and Lost (TV series) or if Lost was set in space. There were two POVs alternating between chapters and an interrogation at the end of every chapter, which happened after they were rescued. The first half of the book focused mainly on Tarver and Lilac trying to survive on the strange planet while the second had a heavier focus on their relationship. I was told this is Titanic in space. So I went in expecting a world wind romance.

Instead I got a pretty engaging mystery, which kept me demanding the answers, but the romance was not that great.

3.25 stars. Titanic in space is how I would describe this. Tarver is Jack and Lilac is Rose, not sure if it's any coincidence they both are heiresses that have floral names. I enjoyed it and thought it was creative. ...more

This book has been compared to the Titanic but with a much better ending. I enjoyed this very much! I will have my full review up soon.

Right at this moment I don't know how I feel about this book. The first half was pretty slow, and as a veteran of the military there were several parts that made me groan because no one carries classified intel in an emergency grab bag, especially not 18-year-old field-promoted Majors who are not in the intelligence field.

It was interesting, though. The twist was a surprise, and I was intrigued enough to keep reading until the end. And enough to make me want to read the next two. The writing was
