All the stars, because hellooooo mother of all book hangovers! Gah, this book!!! Truly amazing and one of the best MM books I've read. Angsty AF, push and pull AF, gorgeous characterisation, suspense that kept me guessing and great writing, even though this book left me absolutely knackered with Ben's antics.

I loved this book.
The author combines a complex and engrossing murder mystery with a relationship story that would have had me chewing pages or throwing things, had I not been risking my new iPad. But the mystifying and infuriating relationship between new-partner-every-night Ben and newly-aware-of-being-gay Police Detective James was maddening and complex and deeply satisfying to my inner needs. This book was picked for me to read in a challenge this was a new author too me. This was a pretty good read that I liked, but I thought it was long at times. Detective Sergeant James Henderson's career is on the fast track. While investigating a murder he meets Ben Morgan who is a photographer. Okay so I guess you kind of can say that there isn't cheating as James assumed they were exclusive. I felt with all the sleeping around that Ben did, he knew that it hurt James & he continued to do it anyway. I didn't like it at all. If you get right of that, it was a decent read.
