I have only a few words. I know some people hate this series, but I generally liked it. I found out I liked it a lot more than I thought by the amount of tears I shed while I read this book.

Pae and Kai's relationship has been the driving force through the whole series, but because it's the main focus, the other parts of the story suffer. I still found the series entertaining, even with all of its faults and plot holes.
One main issue I had was how it felt like so many things ended in death. I felt like Lauren sometimes just didn't know where to go with the story. It also felt like she may have been making things up as she wrote and not planning things out.

kai and paedyn better get their happily ever after. thats all i can say
This book was more than I thought it was going to be. I was very skeptical about it near the start because it was really slow but as it go closer to the middle things really started to pick up. I was very mixed on how I was going to rate this because it seemed very chaotic and it felt like a lot of info dumping, but it turned out to all come together in the end.

YES YES YES!!! This is an example of the perfect trilogy. I loved every book in this series, and this one was no exception. The plot twists and the heartbreak I experienced during this will leave me needing therapy, but that's neither here nor there. KAI???? HAND HIM OVER. IMMEDIATELY. He is ranking high on the list of book bfs, and I truly don't think I'll ever be over this series. ...more
