I am a huge fan of The Assassin's Curse series, and I was super excited to find out that there would be another short story set before Naji and Annana meet. Even more so when I learned it was about Marjani! And I was not disappointed at all.

So I read and reviewed this last year but somehow that has been deleted. I thought it was a cute and funny little story, but I did have a little trouble placing the characters with the main books because it had been a couple of years since I read them.
What happened to Marjani right after she was exiled, and how she became a pirate. Marjani was a favorite character so I really liked this.
