I really liked this book, and I learned so much about Julia Child, a woman who had always stood on the perimeter of my knowledge. Yes, like others I have spoken with, I felt the book might have been shortened. Yet I loved Julia and thought how lucky the folks in her inner circle (at the time) were to have known her.
