freeaken hell...such a good book..AWWWWESOME!

WHOA. JUST WHOA.

The beginning was mundane, blah blah. The alchemists are a cult. The stuff they did made me sick.

Then the whole end of the book is was super paranoid that something really bad was going to happen and the book would just END. It went like this:

They bust out. Me: Get on a plane to Russia and hide with the Belikovs. Or get Abe to blow up something for you. Just get the heck away from the U.S.

They go to Vegas to get cash and run into Alchemists. Me: Omigod don't let this be the en WHOA. JUST WHOA.

Yes. They get stormed and have to run around Vegas in their wedding finery like a clich茅. Lovely.

They try to get on that plan and get almost stopped by nasty old Sheridan. Me: Noooo...I hate it when they try to get on the helicopter and then someone cuts the rope, and they end it? I still mourn Duncan and Isadora and will forever wonder what would have happened if the Baudelaires had gotten in the balloon. So close to a happy ending, but it was torn away by Esme Squalor's harpoon. Luckily, Sheridan didn't have any harpoon, so they got on the chopper. +sighs in relief+

Finally at court. Only YAY look who it is- Daddy and beloved sister Zoe. D: Me: You know, Lissa, you've always been my favorite character (not true, it's Rose), you know, I've always connected with you most (true) and I'll pay for your and Christian's honeymoon if you don't let Zoe and Evil Father take Sydney.

Lissa does the right thing. THANK YOU LISSA!

And then Jill goes missing. Have you ever read that one Sesame Street book called The Monster at the End of This Book, where Grover tries to stop you from turning pages? Well, Jill going missing was the "Oh look-I, lovable, furry old Grover, am the monster at the end of this book" moment for me. No offense to Jill. What will happen next? I don't know, but it won't kill me to wait like I thought it would.

Thanks for that rollercoaster, Richelle. Although I could've consoled myself by saying, "I ship Dimitri and Rose more" in my head. Because it will always be the truth. ...more
