Fantastic book for writers. This book helped me free up my creative voice, stop trying to be a writer or sound like a writer and just write. Before I read this I used to edit as I wrote, try and write the perfect sentence, my thesaurus was my constant companion and after I read this book I just started pouring out my thoughts. I did editing after the free writing, not during, and allowed myself to be vulnerable on the page instead of covering up my true soul and expecting readers to be intereste ...more
