4.5 GREAT AWESOME COOL FANTASTIC BRILLIANTSTARS!

I am going to part this review in two sections(parts) because I don't want to give spoilers away but also want to share some of the scenes I really enjoyed with people who have also read the book so we can discuss together. So the first part of the review will be SPOILER FREE and everyone can read it,and the second part will be filled with spoilers so if you haven't read the book d

Well, having read this only just yesterday and not being able to keep myself from mentioning some details about the book, I'll just say that there may be some spoilers in my review. Not big spoilers, never big spoilers. Just tiny ones about making you familiarized with the book's plot. Read this on your own volition.

Just finished it and all I can say is: Mrs Gabaldon,

You know, you read good books, great books, bad books, stupid books and you read those kind of books. The kind that leaves a mark on you. It doesn't matter if they're good enough, if the writing is amazing. You can't be objective about them. You just love it. And that's all.

Outlander joins my list of amazing, life changing books today along with the Fever series, the Lumatere Chronicles and every Marchetta out there.

Amazing, heartbreaking, mag

Outlander was originally published 20 years ago! 20 years! I am heartbroken that it has taken me this long to find this series. But, the good news is that Diana Gabaldon is still writing books so I can read and enjoy the next six books in this series without waiting YEARS to get to the next one like so many of her fans.

Review May Contain Spoilers -

Claire is in Scotland on a second honeymoon with her husband Frank in 1945. They've been married for several years but she has been working as a nur

This book, with its massive size and extremely small print, was everything I’ve heard it to be and so much more! It is thee largest & heaviest book I’ve read in years no doubt but I enjoyed every single second of it! Jamie and Claire and this story of Scotland and of time travel with a love story intertwined into a historical fiction I didn’t know existed!! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series and feel like it’ll be forever before I can find out what will happen next since it of cou ...more

Some of us love our friends, and so we choose them wisely. We give them books, we recommend movies, we name names, contacts, favorite restaurants. And those we dearly hold close, we give them their very own copy of Outlander. Diana Gabaldon has somehow created an entire world that immediately latches onto you so that the series becomes your adjunct life. You will live and breathe this adventure/tale/saga, not only as a story that fascinates, but as characters that come alive on every page. Diana ...more

I really enjoyed this book. Generally I read for pure enjoyment, not for deeper meaning and this book hit it! I cannot wait for the next one!
