I'm glad that there were some female Beats briefly (and I mean briefly) shown in this book. It sort of sad to know that most people only regard Keuroac, Ginsberg, and Burroughs as the trifecta of the Beat Generation, but hell, the book was still good and I would suggest it. ...more

Not bad, just not great. The images really just repeated he text. There’s nothing wrong with that, per se, but there was an opportunity for the images to elevate. I’m not sure the sections on the painters really made sense for this book, as well. Still, the Kerouac section was really fantastically written. Ginsberg section was good, too.
