Seniors Nina, who has gone to Stanford for a summer program, Avery, a pianist, and Melanie who is less sure about herself, are bestest friends. Avery and Mel work at a restaurant over the summer and fall in love, but they don’t tell Nina. (Avery’s not sure she’s gay, but she doesn’t tell Mel this.) Skimmed most of it. Didn't really draw me in, but---while I read a lot of LGBT YA novels---I'm not exactly the target audience. So whatever.
