Hmm, few of those time where the movie is better than the book. Don't get me wrong the book is also nice and magical and lovely but for me moved a little slow at times and I had watched the movie at a time when I didn't know that it was based on a book and then I watched it again after finding out that it was based on a book by Neil Gaiman.
But I liked the book but not as much as the movie. Now I need to watch the movie once again.

Honestly, I found the book okay. I don't get why people are going gaga over this book even after so many years. Anyways, the book is an adult fairy tale. It's a typical fairy tale only, but with a few twists you can't let your child read. The book maintains a constant pace but there's nothing in it to hold my interest. I'll go with okay.
