I forget how great book two is. Gilderoy Lockhart? Hi-larious! And the plot definitely is more developed, the friendships deeper. It's a treat how well things tie in like the car playing a larger role in the story later and not just at the start. I also love that Rowling answers questions that were brought up in the first book like why was Hagrid expelled? Also the book dives into the history of Hogwarts, which I love. Even though i'd already seen the film it was still as heart stopping as it would've been if i didn't know how it was gonna end.
