Well this book was magical and amazing, I feel every person (young and old) should read it, because it sends the reader in a magical journey. I loved the story and all its intricacies , the use of magic its handled very good and it adds not takes from the story. The only reason im not giving this book 5 stars is because I didn't like the ending , it felt a little bit rushed and at least it didn't appeal to my taste, I lied the premise that for the game to end, one of them had to die..i thougth t

Amazing, beautiful, magical.
There is a reason so many people are in love with this novel. It's just that perfect. This is one of the best books I have ever read.
This gifted author has dreamed a world so perfect, and so beautiful, you never want to leave. It is so magical, there is no escaping it's spell, not even for sleeping. It is so enchanting, you want to begin at page 1, the minute you finish the last page.
I wish there was some way I could visit this circus in real life.. but I know I would end up another star-struck ...more

I have wanted to read this book since 2012. Yep 10 years, that's how long it took.
Sadly I didn't love it. I read the Starless Sea a few years ago and I enjoyed it much more. I think my main problem with this book is that it isn't what it is sold to be? The blurb is in essence describing the plot but it makes it much more interesting than the actual book. This is a larger problem in the first half of the book where I really struggled to care. It took me two months to force my way through it. The ...more
