Looking back at my reviews, I see that I had only read one of the books in this series before.
I wasn't the biggest fan of the way the animals were incorporated into the dialogue and plot, but now that we live in Virginia I thought I would give the series another try.
So I hate to say that this book wasn't absolutely great. Decent brain candy, but nothing more. I'm a sucker for mysteries and books starring cats, and when you add in the Virginia setting, I expected to be drawn in more than I was ...more
