This story is so freakin awesome. It's tender, aww. It's about a china rabbit by the name of Edward Tulane who lives with the girl who made him and her upper-class family. Edward Tulane is a china rabbit with real rabbit-fur ears. He cuts a fine figure in his tailored outfits, but he does not love. Through something akin to a witches' curse (or by hearing a story about the meaningless of life without love), he is trust into years of mild adventure in which he meets many people, loves them, then loses them.
