What Members Thought
This book gives you a reading list. That's one of the things I liked about it, though I'll admit, not all the books he listed made it onto mine. I think that some of what he wrote about is a little much, but generally, his idea was to read good literature with an eye to what the author does. Then, both understand it and use it in your own writing. This goes nicely with my idea that I want to read, listen, and watch, and take notes on what I think works well and what works badly.
