Well obviously I didn’t like this book if you look at my rating. Now let me tell you why:
What was going on? Is it just me or was it very confusing? Jumping from one thing to another? I guess it’s supposed to be like that. That the author was trying something new or trying to be different. But it didn’t work for me.

How I managed to miss this book until now is a mystery. I read last week that is is to sci-if what Narnia is to fantasy and I obviously had to read it.
I wish I had read it as a kid because I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more. However, I can see why it is a classic.
My favourite part is where Meg feels "her disappointment with her father's human fallibility." I guess we all realise at some point that our parents are just humans - and our kids will realise that at some point too. I'll read ...more
