Although this book has some good redeeming qualities it also has many things that had me asking why oh God why?
At times you get the feeling that the author is writing just because he wants to write and so there are a lot of details to the story that aren't really necessary and that don't make the story more fun to read. Some parts he just drags out to no end.

An interesting light fantasy read, all loose ends tied up nicely, interesting ending instead of the traditional happy ending the hero goes off to places unknown, leaves the series open to more books. Enjoyed it as an interesting, entertaining light read.
It was an enjoyable read, but, even though I am sad to say good bye to the characters, I am happy to see the end of the series.
