I have to say that this was my first Loretta Chase romance, and though it didn't put me off the author completely, I definitely did not enjoy it as most everyone else seems to have. People seem to adore this book and I guess I just missed the boat on that one. Lord of Scoundrels was not at all horrible, though, which is why I plan to read more Loretta Chase before I make a definite decision on this author. After years of searching(Not really, I'm doing a re-read and he popped into my head...it's got to be that Star Wars madness), I have found my Dain: 
Adam Driver
He has the whole large guy with a beautifully large nose thing going on that Dain has in the book. Ergo...PERFECT <333 And in the unlikely event of this becoming a movie, Adam would be my top pick for Dain.

The first chapter or so (concerning Sebastian's boyhood) is a riot. Funny and written most entertainingly. Most interesting thing about the book is that even though I didn't love the characters and they absolutely failed to endear themselves to me, I was still interested in seeing what was going to happen.
