I鈥檓 sad I didn鈥檛 love this. There are definitely some things in this book that some people will relate to (discovering gender and sexual identity), but sadly, I didn鈥檛 mesh with the writing and found this story boring and lacking. I wasn鈥檛 engrossed, and I didn鈥檛 get invested in the characters. There were also some issues that I felt needed challenging, and unfortunately we never got that. It just wasn鈥檛 for me, I鈥檓 sad to say!

Shelves: contemporary, standalones

I really loved this story but the writing style just isn't for me, I finished this with a headache because I loved the characters and the story so much I needed to push through. It still gets five stars. Genuine physical pain can't stop me from adoring this book and what it has to say.
