I had hoped to love this book more than I did. Unfortunately, I just didnt. Most of the book I wasnt enjoying it. The characters were great, but the writing didnt sit well with me.

This group of friends was incredibly refreshing. The love and ambiance of acceptance within this group was amazing to live in for a short 300 pages. Yes, they all have their problems, but they're able to work through them together and accomplish goals in ways many people would envy.
I also thoroughly enjoyed how Stevens tackled sexuality and Christianity. I'm not going to say much more because SPOILERS. But yes, I loved it. That's all.

I could not be more in love with this book if i tried. This was a perfect coming of age story about a girl in a small town trying to not fit in AND not make a scene for her family. At first i was hesitant going into this book, because the protagonist - Billie - is from a religious family, I was concerned it would be preachy.
