This was a good book. I liked the introduction of all the new characters. Even though Scarlet and Wolf were another romantic pairing I found they were written so very different from Cinder and Kai. This book was a little harder to get through then Cinder for me but I still enjoyed it and can't wait to start the next book. ...more

Continuing on the rereading of the Lunar Chronicles, the second book in the series was pretty good, not as good as the first in my opinion. We move our focus onto Scarlet and Wolf and their dynamic is interesting. There are some parts that I felt that the author kind of glazed over but we also learnt some more information as the truth is slowly being revealed. I like how we still get to see what's happening with Cinder and Kai and the introduction of new characters. (Captain Throne is the embodi ...more

This review is written after the second time I have read it.

Scarlet's grandmother has been missing for awhile, and the police have given up searching. Scarlet, however, is determined to find her, and meets a street fighter named Wolf who may have the information she needs. Cinder, meanwhile, needs to break out of prison and decide what she wants to do about Queen Levana.

This book is pretty much as good as the first, but I think I like the first one a teensy bit more. Wolf and Scarlet make a gre

There is just something about the Lunar Chronicles that I can't help but love. They are so DAMN CLEVER. I don't know how it's possible but I think a little part of me actually preferred this (slightly) to Cinder. We saw so many characters introduced in this book, with multiple POVs. Scarlet & Wolf are goals I tell you, GOALS. Absolute faves.

Things get crazy in this one, and the stories really start to come together. How things click into place showcases Meyer's raw talent. I

This was more thrilling the first one! Wow, seriously could not put i down!! We start off with Scarlet and young girl looking into her grandmother's disappears which leads to her meeting with Wolf and mysterious fighter. As they're journey continue they found secrets and plots that continue them to Cinder! And Cinder! What love about this book is how all the pieces our fitting and how each character is fits into Cinder's story. When I first started the book I was really confused on why we were r ...more

I was so happy to see there was a book after Cinder. The Lunar Chronicles are my favorite. Just when I thought it couldn’t get better then Cinder and Kai, we get Wolf and Scarlet. This story is so enjoyable. I love the strong female characters, the friendships and Easter eggs that take me back to some of my favorite fairytales. Plus sci fi?! All my favorites wrapped into one!

Also I love Thorne. That is all.
