Shelves: series, romantic, young-adult, paranormal-uf

Our shadowhunters are back!! Cassandra Clare's long-awaited 5th installment of the Mortal Instruments series is one helluva ride. So much happens in this book! There is action, drama, romance and the always expected comedy, all tied in to multiple storylines running all over the place - in a good way :)

Everybody seems a little bit more grown up in this book. Not only are they all climbing in and out of bed (and showers) with each other (PG of course), but they seem more mature, and we got to se ...more

This book made my emotions skyrocket up and down throughout its pages. Ms. Clare's writing is so descriptive, you truly feel like you are experiencing this book while reading it. Fans of the series will devour its pages- because it answers many of the questions posed by fans about the series over the last year (since CoFA).
The end left me satisfied, yet slightly sad. For once, it is not totally a cliffhanger as many of Ms. Clare's other books, because some of the problems the characters had in ...more
