I’ll try to keep this review short, otherwise it would turn into a long rant. I want to say that I did not completely hate the book, there were quality moments and Martin’s writing is good, but the slow pacing and fact that A Storm of Swords’s epilogue and A Feast for Crows’s prologue were barely mentioned again, despite how mysterious and intriguing they were, disappointed me. I dare say these two chapters were twice as interesting as this whole book.

If I was this excited while reading this one, I'll probably have a heart attack by the end of the next. Sooo good. A bit dull at times but each chapters always ended with your jaw on the floor. I especially liked Georges' message at the very end 'Meanwhile, back on the Wall...'. Ohh he's good. I was just thinking we'd get a last glimpse of Jon or find out the wighs were attacking...but no. Too bad. Amazing, as always, though...A must (the whole series) for any true fantasy lover.
