In this thirteenth Anita Blake novel Anita is filling in unexpectedly for fellow federal marshal, vampire executioner and animator, Larry Kirkland, on a zombie raising of a witness for the FBI.

A really short book.
I think the author wrote this book to give more background about Micah, since compared to the other characters we didn't know anything about him. (we probably knew more about Dolph than Micah) So for that purpose it was an okay book, but not if you compare it to the other books in the series.
