This was sooo good, I love Rehv, what vamp. What a heart of gold. I hate that we have to wait for a whole year to hear anymore from the brothers. I sure hope that the fallen angels series helps get me through

I loved this book, absolutely loved it! It was longer than all the others in the series so far, but I found that once I started reading it I had a hard time stopping. I actually ended up reading it in only one day.
As usual the plot was dark and interesting, filled with action and romance.
I found I really enjoyed Rehvenge鈥檚 story and I liked the glimpse into his world, as opposed to the Brotherhood. I wasn鈥檛 quite sure I would.

I found I really enjoyed Rehvenge鈥檚 story and I liked the glimpse into his world, as opposed to the Brotherhood. I wasn鈥檛 quite sure I would.
Obviously, Rehvenge is a very dark, brutal character, especially considering his profession and everything he has to deal with on a day to day basis in his life, but I was shocked to see how hard he was on himself. Despite being a drug lord, a killer and a pimp he was actually a good guy, who wanted to do the best he could. He knew he wasn鈥檛 typically an honourable person, he knew that everything he did was nasty and yet he continued to do it, not to mention put himself in horrible situations, so that the people who relied on him, the people he loved were safely in the dark and taken care off. He made great sacrifices for the people who mattered to him.
Ehlena was an interesting enough heroine. She was kind, and gentle, but also had a tough side to her. While she wasn鈥檛 aware of Rehv鈥檚 dark world in the beginning, she still appeared to see the real him. She saw past what was on the surface of him, and into the goodness that was buried beneath. I will admit I was a little upset...and saddened, by the way she first reacted to Rehv鈥檚 true nature and profession, I was glad when she eventually learnt that all was not as it appeared.
I think they were a nice couple, and I was glad they stayed together.

Wow, let me just say.....I LOVE Xhex! She just seems to be such a complex character, one who鈥檚 obviously experienced a lot in her past, and who has slight trust issues, but just has something about her that鈥檚 so incredible.....and vulnerable. I couldn鈥檛 believe how John was acting towards her and I was shocked like hell when Lash kidnapped her towards the end of the book. Lord only knows what he has in store for her. Personally I鈥檓 cheering for John to not only find her but to do some serious.....um.....鈥榳ork鈥� on Lash. He needs to have his head smashed in....or his intestines cut out.

I would have given this one 5 stars if it had not been for the really slow beginning!!!!! I was really looking forward to Rev's story, but the slow beginning almost made me put it down. However, it did pick up by the middle, and I am sooooooo glad!!!!!! What a cliff hanger at the end!!!! After Phury's story I had to take a little hiatus!!! (It was so slow!!!! LOL!!!) I am so ready for book 8!!!! ...more
