Just finished it yesterday or should I say last night. I could not put it down. Tohrment was a character that made you love him when he was nice and hate him when he was mean. I'm glad she found a new villian to throw in the mix, the lessers were falling off with creativity. I'm happy to say I cannot wait to see what the next book brings. I love the dialogue. I love the humor. I love the character development that is in every book. We grow with them. Awesome book! ...more

I don't want to say too much because I do not want to give anything away. However, I am so glad that Tohr finally find peace and properly mourns. AND he finds love again!!! Yay!!! this review does not even put a dent in this novel.....Ward fans..... go and read!!!!!! ...more

Couldn't put it down per usual with the brotherhood (natch)!! Liked the sideline stuff with john and Xhex. Band of bastards is growing on me too. Wasn't the best in the series but I don't care...just being back in the world of BDB was good for me! ...more
