I've been wanting to read Julie Garwood for a while now, and picked this as my first read. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but I really enjoyed this novel. It was a very entertaining read to watch this couple sort out their feeling for one another. Of course, we as readers know they love each other by the time they get to London but they have a harder time figuring that out. I've been on a Julie Garwood streak for the past two weeks - started out with
and then
- loved them both. So now I'm determined to get my hands on all of Ms. Garwood's HRs.
The Prize was a very enjoyable read - I was on a road trip and able to finish it in two days. Great story, loved all the characters. I've given it 4 stars because I didn't love it as much as I did The Bride, which I adored.
Our hero is another giant warrior and our heroine drop-dead beautiful with violet blue eyes - ...more
