I’m disappointed with this installment in the series. 😩 Despite being a nicely written book, this is just too winded for me. First of all, despite Tristan and Quinn being compatible mates, there’s no sizzling UST or any emotion connection between them IMO. 😕 It’s just too slow-burn(the actual mating comes at 90% point and there’s no sex whatsoever before that). 🤷♀� And this feels like a poor intermission between the 2nd book and 4th book. Quinn and Tristan. Quinn is one of the alphas of the Briar Wood pack. He is the brother of Roan from book 1. Tristan is an ariel circus artist who is used abused and ultimately secretly sold for $$ to another pack to a breeding house/farm by his evil father. He escapes by hiding in Quinn's vehicle while Quinn is scouting the area searching for pack leader Griffins lost brother Micheal.
