This was a perfectly serviceable paranormal detective story. I far prefer werecats to wolves so I dug Roan the lion and Paris the tiger. If I had one major complaint it's that for a M/M story there was not much romance or chemistry between the two. I found their relationship to be more of an afterthought which makes me wonder why write it in at all? It took me a looooong time to finish this book, it wasn't what I expected but I really enjoyed it.
I don't know if it took me a whole week to finish it because it's a big ass book or because it isn't my cup of tea, but I have to admit the writing is excellent.
The world building and the plot (or plots since it's a two story book) were interesting and a bit different.

A lot of caring and connecting with that special someone (a couple of kisses/hugs/etc. are as 'physical' as it gets). A great read!
