I read Swan Song for the first time way back in the late 1980s and I remember liking it, but not thinking it was as great as everybody thought. With the second reading ... I liked it more and better appreciate the epic scope of the story. Of course, the rap on this book was always that it was a poor man's imitation of Stephen King's The Stand. There are similarities, but they are very different stories.

I read this book 24 years ago and honestly fell in love with the author .This is a book that I have read 3 times and it never dulls me .Please check it out .What would you do to survive if the world was in chaos ?
