Though I didn't like the ending of Promise, I knew there would be a sequel, so when I finally got to read Purpose, I was thrilled. It was good to discover just how things work out for Alexis and her son. Kristie did a great job of putting me inside Alexis's skin so I could feel her pain and confusion over losing Tristan. I got to a point where I was just as angry with him as she was for his leaving her. This is Kristie's best book yet and I look forward to more books in the Soul Saver series.

I instantly bought this book after I read the Promise, the first book in the series. It takes place 7 years later from the end of Promise. And let me tell you it is heart wrenching. Alexis is in a dark and emotional place. Still not over her loss. To help distract herself she started writing and became pretty famous but later in the book there is a great twist that deals with her writing.
