I thought I wouldn't care for this overly much (i.e. I thought I'd like it just okay), but it turned out that I did. Yes, I'm about to do the obligatory comparison to Anne. Emily is much more practical and down to earth than Anne, despite her mystical flashes, occasional second sight, and similar romanticizing of the landscape.
