4 ½ stars � Historical/Georgian Romance
Oh but how I love this series! Ms. Hoyt is a brilliant writer and she delivers another winner in her evocative, sensual, addictive Maiden Lane series that’s now 5 for 5 and still going strong! I can’t wait for the next book!

When I grow up, I want to write like Elizabeth Hoyt. Her prose is both lyrical and evocative but also precise and crisp. I loved both the hero and heroine, two kindred souls who lost the loves of their lives. How they found a way to find a second, even richer love with each other is very satisfying.
